How to record a demo

[DRUNK_KILLER]

While playing as a spectator be sure to use the hud as follows.

1. Choose follow player by pressing 1.



2. Choose either current player if you are currently spectating the player you want to demo or player list and search for the player you wish to record.


3. In console be sure to type in | Record "Player's Name Here".


4. After the demo begins to record type status in console so that we have a clear idea of who was playing and what their steam id's were.



SIDENOTE: When you type status in console be sure to remember to do it immediately after recording so we can go back through the console and check for matching steam id's.

ALSO when posting on the forums please format it as such so people know what they are looking for.
